		<description>I hope the people in those videos got some kind of payment for being recorded; I&#039;d be furious if anyone tried to charge me like that on the spot.

The pricing is messed up.  Phone companies want to make profit from every single task such as Caller ID, activation, contracts, etc.  They play with the numbers so even if you&#039;re on a shorter plan, you&#039;re just paying more for the phone and the monthly fees.  The contracts are a way to force people to stay with the plan for a certain amount of time or pay a hefty fee to break the contract entirely.</description>
