Except… I have javascript turned on… and it’s servicing the Google Analytics code on that site….

I understand the humor of the site and I’m not offended by it at all. Javascript is helpful with things such as determining operating system types. For example, an website would advertise different versions of software for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X users without having to ask the user which OS they’re using.
There are legitimate reasons to disable JavaScript; for example, bad JS code can crash someone’s browser or some ads can be too intrusive.
