These days, it’s easy for any fool to make internet-connected devices, and the problem is that many fools do just that, without any consideration for the security aspects. As a result, we’ve had things as wide-spanning as the big Mirai botnet attack of last year and as close to home as baby monitors that can be accessed by people other than the baby’s parents or babysitter.
