Change Your LinkedIn Password Now!

LinkedIn has a lot of ‘splainin’ to do. LinkedIn has been breached and 6.5 million hashed and encrypted LinkedIn user passwords have been posted to a site with requests for help in cracking them.

If you have a LinkedIn account and haven’t done so already, go to LinkedIn and change your password now.

Thanks for the heads up! Hadn’t heard about this from elsewhere yet.

Back when Gawker’s passwords got put up everywhere, I started using a per-site random password along with a password manager. I know there are other ways of doing it now, but 1Password on my Mac, Windows machine and phone is working wonders for me. Certainly helped to make sure the damage is contained this time!
